    We dont have C code, we have only ASM and BASCIC codes.

    The resistance between the probes plays the role. If the soil is wet then the resistance between the probes will be low when compared to the dry soil.

    Thanks Binu for your reply.
    I am using this sensor with 89c51 micro-controller.
    It is not working properly when connected to micro controller.
    In Proteus it works fine, but when i prepared circuit, it always gives high at microcontroller port 2.0.
    Output from sensor is 4.93v when open and 1.80v when closed.
    Please help.

    Whats the output of Op-amp in the real circuit, when the sensors are closed and open.
    Try to use Lm358 opamp.

    Fine then, microcontroller can recognize them as 1 and 0.
